About me

I’m Chuly, a Brazilian illustrator and visual artist whose journey began with tattooing, flowed through graffiti, and found new meaning in illustration. Each step has been a way of learning how to tell stories through lines, colors, and the quiet details that make us human.

My work explores identity, emotion, and belonging — often through the lens of childhood and imagination. I’m drawn to the way colors can hold feelings and how simple shapes can say what words can’t.

As a non-binary artist, I see representation not as a theme, but as a presence that naturally lives in my art. I want my characters and worlds to reflect the beautiful diversity of those who look at them — to make people feel seen, safe, and connected.

Art, for me, has always been both refuge and language — a way of understanding myself and the world around me.

My artistic path

From tattoo to graffiti, from digital illustration to sculpture — my art keeps evolving, but the heart stays the same.
Each medium has taught me a new way to tell stories, to shape emotions, and to connect with people.
It’s a journey about transformation — learning to see the world through different forms, colors, and textures.
